WHERE TO FIND KENNI FALLS

Isaac Stroupe & Kenni Falls, Eye Rhyme

Kenni is one of my absolute favorites anywhere.
In Eric's words, Kenni's music is both "funky" & "fresh".
I completely agree.
Her voice is really very distinctive.
The structures of her songs are very avant garde.
The real treat when you go see her is her amazing voice.
I, for one, am mesmerized by her breathy, warbly voice.
Listen to "Machines" on her Reverb Nation.
I WANT DESSERT FIRST!!!

Typography Tuesday

All images via weheartit.
I couldn't find the links to the originals.  :(
Does anyone know how to do that?

Today my day is devoted to burning/printing Little District cds.
I'm also trying to get a lot of house stuff done.
I doubt I'll be able to get everything finished but I'll try.
All I can do is keep breathing.
Is it bad I am listening to Ingrid Michaelson while burning other music?

Angelina's coming over later & I'm making dinner.
She's moving this weekend to Boone.
Sad but happy times.  :)

This week is going to be crazy busy but hopefully pretty memorable!!!

Milkjug Monday:
Perry Fowler

ABOUT PERRY

Perry is cool. He plays music. Often by himself. Sometimes with others. You should see him play. He is really good.

IT'S BEEN SAID
"Fowler's name is one that is always
popping up on my radar. He's a talented
songwriter with a coffeehouse folk vibe to
him. Sitting on a stool, banging the
tambourine with his foot, Fowler has the
easy ability to draw people in with his
lyrics and laid-back demeanor."
-Jeff Hahne, Creative Loafing

WHERE TO FIND HIM

We almost never miss a Perry Fowler show.
Everyone I know loves 'em some Perry Fowler.
He's like a one man band.
My favorite of his is the song "One Inch Worm".
"You are my friend, that I'll stick with to the end
but don't take offense because I never call."
You can hear Perry on his Reverb Nation.
How can you not love that?
